Guardianship arrangements help ensure that students have appropriate supervision, guidance, and welfare support while living away from home.
Our role is to help families understand the guardianship requirements in Singapore and connect them with suitable guardianship arrangements where necessary.
Responsibilities of a Guardian
A guardian may assist with several aspects of student welfare, including
- Acting as a local contact person for the student
- Supporting the student’s wellbeing and adjustment to life in Singapore
- Maintaining communication with parents when necessary
- Assisting in emergencies or important situations
- Providing general supervision and guidance
